Dora Dellatorre, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
I’m a family nurse practitioner registered for autonomous practice in Florida, and I’ve called Brevard County home for more than twenty years.
Why I practice this way.
I’m a Nurse Practitioner with a passion for helping people not just manage their health, but truly feel their best and live well.
Since becoming a Nurse Practitioner in 2020, I’ve cared for patients with a wide range of chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, thyroid disorders, COPD, anemia, and hormone imbalances. Before becoming an NP, I spent 15 years in emergency medicine, including nine years as a clinical charge nurse, along with years of experience in EMS, 911 communications, and primary and specialty care.
Those experiences taught me that excellent healthcare begins with listening. Every person is different, and I believe your care should be personalized to your needs, your goals, and your life.
How I practice
Providing personalized care with compassion, through nutrition, hormone optimization and education.
My own health journey has also shaped the way I practice. I’ve learned the importance of looking beyond symptoms and exploring how nutrition, lifestyle, hormones, and other factors can influence how we feel and function. I’m passionate about helping patients understand their health and make informed, sustainable changes through education, shared decision-making, and compassionate care.
I especially enjoy helping people with weight management, hormone balance, healthy nutrition, lifestyle changes, and overall wellness.
There is nothing I love more than seeing a patient experience a positive change and realize that they have the ability to take an active role in their health.
My goal is simple: to help you feel empowered, live well, and age happy.
When I’m not caring for patients, I’m enjoying time with my husband and four children, tending to my hundreds of plants, or enjoying fishing, snorkeling, boating, traveling, and time outdoors with my family.
